Sharing Best Practice

Through our blog, policy papers and events, we’ll share examples of recognised best practice and highlight details of the minimum standards that will be expected by operators and developers in the safe and responsible development of our onshore hydrocarbon resources.

Influencing

On your behalf, we’ll work with local and central government and other relevant stakeholders to ensure that the specific needs, and benefits, of a British SME supply chain are properly recognised and understood.

Engaging

We’ll facilitate opportunities for you to engage directly with operators and developers, but will also help you to reach out to people in the towns and villages where onshore hydrocarbon development takes place, so that you can use your experience to reassure local communities about energy extraction.

Educating

Working with the new college for onshore oil and gas, headquartered in Blackpool,  we’ll be helping to identify the upcoming skills and workforce development needs of the SME supply chain so that, as activity gathers pace, we can make sure we have enough trained and qualified people available to help us grow.

Networking

A mixture of formal and informal events will provide the perfect opportunity for you to meet and learn from other British supply chain SMEs.
